Terms of Service
Last Updated: May 2026
Welcome to Exarlo ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Exarlo platform, website, and the automated security assessment services we provide (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Nature of the Service
Exarlo provides automated security assessments (vulnerability analysis and security audits) for domains you own or have explicit authorization to test. Our services are strictly passive and public-facing. We do not engage in unauthorized penetration testing, exploitation, or any activities that disrupt the availability of your services.
2. Authorization and Consent
By submitting a domain to Exarlo for a security assessment, you warrant and represent that:
- You are the legal owner of the target domain, OR
- You have explicit, written authorization from the domain owner to perform security assessments on the specified target.
- The assessment will not violate any agreements, laws, or regulations applicable to you or the target.
We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate scans if we suspect unauthorized use.
3. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Exarlo and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from:
- Your use or inability to use the Services.
- Any vulnerabilities not detected by our automated tools (no automated tool can guarantee 100% detection).
- Any unauthorized access or alterations to your transmissions or data.
- Decisions made or actions taken by you based on our assessment reports.
4. Pricing, Payment & Merchant of Record
The Exarlo security audit is a one-time purchase of $149 USD. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and no auto-renewal. The price shown at checkout is the total price; any applicable sales tax or VAT is calculated and displayed before you pay.
Our order process and payments are conducted by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders and handles all billing-related queries. When you purchase an audit, Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Conditions apply to the transaction, and the charge will appear on your bank or card statement as a payment to Paddle(e.g. “PADDLE.NET* EXARLO”). Paddle securely processes your payment; Exarlo does not receive or store your full card details.
By completing checkout, you agree to pay the specified fee. Assessments are initiated only after your payment is successfully verified by Paddle. All fees are non-refundable except as outlined in our Refund Policy.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to use our Services to:
- Scan targets without explicit authorization.
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Exarlo platform.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of our scanning engines.
- Resell or redistribute our reports without appropriate licensing or agreements.
6. Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
